Attorney Russo served for approximately 12 years as a prosecutor in the State Prosecution. During that time she represented the State before the Supreme Court in criminal proceedings, coordinated various areas in the formulation of public prosecution policy, and prepared legal opinions for the Attorney General and his deputies on matters of public importance with broad implications.
Today Attorney Russo specializes in representing clients in complex criminal proceedings and high-profile matters, in managing crises with legal dimensions, and in civil and commercial litigation. She serves as a member of the statutory committee charged with reviewing the suspension of heads of local authorities following the filing of an indictment under the Local Authorities Law (Election of Head of Authority and Deputies and Their Terms of Office).
